1st Tyne Sea Scouts' headquarters is a modern hall in Walkergate, round the corner from Walkergate Metro station. Inside there is a large hall, a separate leaders' room overlooking it, a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and modern toilets with showers.
Outside there is a campfire circle and a large grass space big enough for pioneering or for camping, with fencing all the way round and a gate that locks.
Bookings are taken by 1st Tyne Sea Scouts rather than by the district. Hourly rates are still to be confirmed — ask the Group when you enquire.
